Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-11
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at verauth.net and the related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by VerAuth, Inc., a Nevada C corporation (“VerAuth,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
VerAuth provides an estate document vault platform. Members may upload and store legal documents (including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and similar instruments), digitally sign the VerAuth Authority Contract declaring the vaulted versions of those documents as the sole authoritative versions, and grant access to designated parties under release conditions the member configures.
The Service also includes optional features such as the Final Arrangements package, the Digital Secrets Vault, the Succession Success toolkit, physical vault storage, and an institutional verification portal for third parties presented with a vaulted document.
2. Acceptance and the Authority Contract
Creating an account constitutes acceptance of these Terms. Signing the VerAuth Authority Contract is a separate and additional binding step that you take inside the product after your account is created. The Authority Contract is the legal instrument by which you declare the documents you have vaulted with VerAuth as the sole authoritative versions; these Terms govern your use of the Service that hosts that declaration.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter into a binding contract, and generally located in the United States to use the Service. The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly accept accounts from anyone under 18.
4. Account Responsibilities
- Keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- Provide accurate, current information about yourself, the documents you vault, and the parties to whom you grant access.
- Do not use the Service to commit fraud, impersonate another person, evade a court order, or upload documents you do not have the legal right to store and share.
- Notify us promptly at support@verauth.net if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
5. Not a Law Firm; No Legal Advice
VerAuth is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, draft legal instruments on your behalf, or represent you in any legal matter. The Service is a technology platform for storing, attesting to, and selectively sharing legal documents that you (or your attorney) have created. If you need legal advice about your estate, please consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of the documents and information you upload. You grant VerAuth a limited license to store, encrypt, transmit, and display your content solely to operate the Service for you and the parties you authorize. We do not sell your content. We do not use the contents of your documents to train third-party AI models.
7. Fees and Subscriptions
Pricing for each plan and one-time purchase is displayed at the point of sale. Subscription plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancellations, refunds, and proration are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Service Availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities at all times. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen incidents may temporarily affect availability.
9. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@verauth.net. VerAuth may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that are used for fraud, or that we are legally required to terminate. Refund treatment on termination is governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerAuth disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerAuth’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to VerAuth in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
